Flagpole Preventive Maintenance
Flagsource Unlimited flagpole preventive maintenance includes service to commercial and residential flagpoles in Kansas City and surrounding areas. From re-roping to replacing cables, trucks, balls, snap hooks and flags, we can do it.
Ropes and cables should be inspected and serviced at least once a year before they break. If they break, a bucket truck will have to be sent out. A bucket truck is more costly.
Flags also should be repaired or replaced when fraying is obvious. Flags can often be repaired if caught early enough.
What will we do on a Flagpole Preventive Maintenance service call?
Rope based flagpoles; check the rope, check and lubricate snap hooks . We’ll also do a ground observation of the truck and ball, and we’ll check the flag/flags. Replace any parts/flags necessary.
Cable based flagpoles; check and clean the winch. Check the cable for fraying. Check all fittings, snap hooks, weights, and tighten them up and lubricate. Check the flag/flags and do a ground observation of the truck and ball. Replace any parts/flags necessary.

The physical installation of the flagpole was unsatisfactory and NOT worth the cost. The assigned team was not familiar with the proper installation procedures and did not have accountability of all the components that were ordered. The flagpole provided has excessive scratches to the base pole. It was transported to our residence in the back of their pick-up truck with no packing material to protect its surface from metal on metal contact. Attention to detail and the precision of the plumb line indicates unsatisfactory workmanship while installing. My desire is to have the installed flagpole swapped out for a new flagpole with no defects to its surface.
I am writing this review as the new Assistant Manager at The Fairways at Corbin Park Apartments. We needed our flagpole fixed in a certain amount of days and they came within 2 days and completed the job and went above and beyond when they noticed our other 2 poles weren't set up correctly, they fixed that when they did not have too! I will always recommend Flag Resource Unlimited. Thank you for your hard work and great customer service.
