The External Halyard Flagpole features a classic design where the rigging system is positioned on the outside of the pole. A durable rope ascends the flagpole's shaft to a truck assembly at the top, where it passes through a pulley system. The rope then descends the shaft and is secured to an external cleat, typically located 4 ½ feet above ground level. The truck assembly at the top of the pole can be either stationary or revolving, with revolving options available in single or double pulley configurations. The single revolving external halyard system is the industry standard.
